SETX Directory

Listing sources & editorial policy

The Southeast Texas Business Directory helps residents compare local businesses and gives owners a place to share accurate business information.

Where business information comes from

Listings combine publicly available business information, imported business records, and updates submitted by business owners or directory administrators. Available fields vary by business. Confirm time-sensitive information, including hours, services and pricing, directly with the business.

Directory counts describe the listings currently available here. They are not a census of every business operating in Southeast Texas.

Owner claims and corrections

Owners can request a listing claim and verify their email. Claims are subject to admin review before listing editing is approved. A claimed listing identifies the account managing the profile; it is not a professional license, certification, or guarantee of service quality.

Claim your business to request access. For a correction, duplicate listing or closed business, email [email protected] with the listing URL, the requested change and a supporting source.

Reviews and business comparisons

Google review information and reviews submitted to this directory are identified separately where displayed. Review totals and ratings can change as source information is updated. Customer reviews reflect individual experiences.

Comparison pages explain how available rating and review evidence is used. Evaluate service fit, recent customer feedback and your own requirements before choosing a provider. Verify professional credentials with the relevant licensing authority when applicable.

Featured placement and our business

Featured placement may come from a promotional claim benefit or a paid placement purchase. Paid featured stacks affect position in featured sections. A featured label describes visibility on the directory, not an independent endorsement.

The directory is operated by Vaughn Labs, LLC. It also introduces business owners to website and related business services. Owners can use their free directory listing and consider additional services based on their needs.

Regional guides and AI assistance

Regional guides offer context and starting points for further research. Follow linked source organizations for current schedules, requirements and official information. AI tools may assist content and website-preview creation; generated content should be checked against the actual business and original sources.

To cite a listing, link to its business profile and state the date you accessed it. For a statistic, prefer the original source and its reporting period.
